His poetry hangs in over 10,000 businesses across America, including automotive dealerships and chains, such as Ford, Ferrari, Firestone, Jiffy Lube, Supercuts and Great Clips.

Stagepoet began his poetry career after being layed off as a Systems Engineer from Verizon as a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia, and founded and hosted WordStage Poetry Lounge for six years at Barnes & Noble in Richmond, VA and Books-A-Million in Washington, DC, and is the first in history to release a full stand-up poetry performance on video, among other accomplishments.
